FACTORS OF ENTERPRISE WATER INFORMATION DISCLOSURE: 
BASED ON DATA OF CHINAS LISTED CHEMICAL COMPANIES

Water information disclosure is an important factor for water-sensitive companies to send information to capital market and gain returns. Whether or how the companies disclose water information becomes a focus for government and stakeholders. This paper, based on Shanghai\|listed chemical companies data from 2016 to 2018, establishes a multiple regression model to study the impacts of enterprise features, internal management, financial status and external factors on water information disclosure. Results show that enterprise size, listed periods, capital intensity, gross capital returns, public supervision pressure are positively related to water information disclosure level, but board proportion and Tobin Q value are negatively related to it. Equity concentration, asset debt rate, equipment renewal rate and local economic level have no significant impact on it. This paper, aiming at increasing water information disclosure quality, presents suggestions on establishing water information disclosure system, optimizing internal management and financial status and intensifying external supervision.

Social stability is a vital basis for China's economy, requiring social stability risk assessment of vital hydrological projects, which is part of major decision. This paper, based on 20 social stability risk factors of vital hydrological projects, establishes a risk evaluation index system, which is weighted by entropy. Extensible material element theory combined with social stability risk assessment is used to construct index classic domain and joint domain. A comprehensive correlation is calculated to form the method in assessing social stability risks of vital hydrological projects based on the case of W channel consolidation. This project has a highest low risk hierarchy correlation, which means it is acceptable in social stability risk if prevention is in place. This method has been proven by the actual facts for its execution and adaptability, offering a new idea for social stability risk assessment of vital hydrological projects and effectively alerting the risks. 

This paper discusses the features and objectives of rehabilitated ecological compensation, uses bounded rationality evolution gambling model to analyze the evolutional stability strategy and dynamic tendency of water sources and water use areas, and applies Jacobian matrix to study anti-disturbance stability at each equilibrium points, aiming at offering references for China to develop ecological compensation mechanism of water sources. Upper-level governmental involvement in ecological rehabilitation and bilateral compensation constraint may make “rehabilitation in water sources and compensation in water use areas” the only balanced strategy if punishment and compensation meet some requirements, a premier balanced strategy expected publicly. This paper presents suggestions on increasing public consciousness in environmental protection, improving the laws and regulations, setting up cooperative platforms, and clarifying interests and responsibilities, which will help sound development of ecological compensation.

This paper, based on the development strategy of Yangtze River economic zone, studies its coupling coordination between urbanization and water resources from 2006 to 2015 from temporal and spatial perspectives by setting up a comprehensive evaluation index system via entropy method and a coupling coordination model updated by TOPSIS. The result shows an escalating urbanization development and water resources use level, and thus a rising coupling coordination. The coordination degree has an outstanding locality concentration in the eleven provinces along the Yangtze River, high in the east and low in the central. This paper presents suggestions on boosting urbanization development in the western regions, increasing water resources comprehensive use and driving coordinated development of economy and eco-environmental protection in Yangtze River economic zone.
